The Scott Shores Association is the homeowners' association for properties in the Scott Shores Subdivision on Scott Lake in Bloomingdale, Michigan.
The Association was established in 1952 when the original owner plotted and divided the parcels. Today, there are 140+ members in the Association, with 17 properties designated for common member use.
The goal of the Association is to create community and enhance all member property values through the establishment and use of the member-owned parcels.
The Scott Shores Association is a non-profit corporation managed by an Executive Board.
The Executive Officers are elected by the membership at the Annual Meeting on the first Saturday in June. The President then fills the Board with volunteers according to the Constitution.
The Board follows the Association's Constitution and its bylaws which are on file with local authorities.
The Constitution and bylaws have been amended from time to time, as needed.
Current annual Association Dues are $75.
Dues amounts have been changed from time to time, most recently at the Annual Meeting held in 2019.
The Association's fiscal year runs from May to April. Dues for each year are payable on May 1, the beginning of the fiscal year.
